Rules for Matching Fields with PSA Records
When syncing and merging records, ITBOOST uses matching rules.
Matching rules help to identify any existing records in ConnectWise – such as Location, Contact, Configuration, etc. If existing records are found, ITBOOST will update the missing records on ConnectWise, and vice versa.

Company Company Identifier / ID
Contacts Company Name, Contact First and Last Name
Configurations Configuration Name, Type and Mac Address
Locations Site Name
If no record matches with the rules mentioned above, ITBOOST considers it a new record and adds it into the respective system accordingly. Done and done.
