Needless to say, it's just best to check the expiration often.
It's the same for your clients and their domain names. It's imperative they keep an eye on them, otherwise things like this can happen.
You can thank us later for this, but at ITBOOST, we hate expired domains as much as the next guy. So, we've made it quite easy for you to keep track for your clients.
Take a look at the company dashboard for one of your clients:
See in the upper-left corner where it says Trackers? Click there and look for an entry called Domain Tracker. That's it! Give it a click.
Here, you'll see all of this particular client's domains, with lots of specifics and metrics on things like:
There's also a static Actions field with icons:
The Trash icon lets you delete the domain altogether
The Update Tags icon allows you to add or subtract tags to keep domains categorized
The Cycle icon lets you save all the latest changes and updates
The Calendar icon allows you to add the domain's specific expiration date
